Musk Lorikeets (Glossopsitta concinna) are endemic to south-eastern Australia, including Tasmania.
They are predominantly bright green, with an obvious red band across their forehead and prominent red patches on the side of their face.
Musk Lorikeets mainly feed on on nectar and pollen from eucalypts. Other food includes insects, flowers, fruits and seeds.
