Cattle Egrets (Ardea ibis) are found throughout much of the world, including Australia. The Cattle Egret is found in grasslands, woodlands and wetlands, but is not common in arid areas. It frequents pastures and farmland and is often seen with cattle and other stock. The Cattle Egret eats insects and other invertebrates.
